Hi!
My name is Dr. Laurie Garabedian, but most of my patients call me Dr. G. I am a board certified family medicine physician and have been practicing in the Foxborough area since 2016. I went to medical school at The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME and did my residency at Brown University Family Medicine in RI. If you are now wondering what osteopathic medicine is, click here. As a family medicine doctor I take care of people of all ages, from the newest of babies to the oldest of adults. I have special interests in wellness, lifestyle medicine, and osteopathy, but truly enjoy everything about family medicine and primary care. I love being a doctor and taking care of people.
Aside from being a doctor, I am also a human (who knew?)! I grew up in NH and now own a home in Foxboro. I love to hike, garden, do yoga, watch scary movies, read, and cook. I have a cat named Mineux and a dog named Lucy, who are pictured below. In my free time I am often found out in the woods hiking with my dog. I hope to train her as a therapy dog, so with any luck you will get to meet her in the office. My cat is my little buddy, but he won't like you (or anyone who isn't me, really), so he won't be visiting in the office haha. In the summer I grow a vegetable garden, which is a hobby I picked up from my father and grandfather. I start my own plants from seed each year and get the biggest kick out of growing my own food. I absolutely love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, you will probably hear their tunes playing in the background from time to time. In fact, Luna got its name as nod to Stevie Nicks who often wears a crescent moon necklace, as do I. The elephant photo above was chosen intentionally because my patients have been collecting elephant trinkets for me for years, you will see them throughout the office. Now that you know a little about me, I am hoping to get to know you!
